That what I observed as well. Is it known however, for the scenario where available Lyft Cash doesn't completely cover the entire ride, if the $10 discount is applied if a CSR is used to pay the balance?

I bought a few gcs when I had $15 off $50 Amex offer so that's 30% but still working off the balance on those as well and can't even use in conjunction with Chase $10 credit. I ended up using my $10 on a ride that costed just under $10 so no extra charge to my card and the next time I have no issue using Lyft Cash as the payment.
Right, with the occasional AmEx & Chase Offers, plus rideshare credits on multiple UA cards, I'm envisioning needing to fund Uber/Lyft credits more often in order to maximize the credits.
