I know there’s been discussion with gift cards counting but I couldn’t find anything specifically regarding digital gift cards.
Homedepot.com orders of digital gift cards will count as "online" and "home improvement".
At least they have in the past for me.
I don't believe bestbuy.com will trigger as "home improvement". Online orders (there's some offers for "online" stuff) probably. But I'm fairly certain bestbuy.com does not have a merchant code of home improvement.
