Recently I was going to use my Lyft Cash to pay for a ride, but there wasn't an indication that I would get the $10 credit so I switched back to the CSR before the ride ended.
How is this different than Amex/Uber? As of late last year, you had to have your Amex as the payment card in order to use the uber cash issued from having an Amex card. With Lyft, same thing, you need to have CSR as the payment method for the credit to apply.
