Plus you don't even have to use your AmEx card to pay (can use Uber Cash, with an AmEx card as a backup option). Appears one has to actually pay for the ride with the CSR to get the $10 Lyft credit.
Recently I was going to use my Lyft Cash to pay for a ride, but there wasn't an indication that I would get the $10 credit so I switched back to the CSR before the ride ended.
I would assume if I didn't have enough Lyft Cash to cover the entire ride, and the CSR was selected to cover the balance, that it would trigger the $10 credit? Any datapoints out there on this?
