The Amankila beach club may be my favorite in the world but that is mainly because of the giant beach beds in the shade, the absolute best beach beds. The beach itself isn't that great, sand is volcanic, a lot of trash washes up, and I think they may still have a tanker/ferry issue where large ships anchor in the area. I was last there in 2022 and there were quite a few ships parked. There is surf, but not huge so it is swim-able, but it isn't some beautiful white sand bright blue water beach.
