AS miles were posted correctly a week after my flights (submitted a claim immediately after the flights). Props to AS customer service.
The Aer Lingus lounge indeed wasn’t too great. There’re more seating options than 51st and Green, but food and beverage was abysmal. Barista coffee was only available till 11, and there’s only one single hot food and a single hot soup option. I thought “tasty fresh sandwiches” were supposed to be a la minute similar to BA LHR lounges, but they turned out to be prepackaged anyway. If I’m US-bound next time around, I’d probably go straight to 51st and Green for the better food and proximity to gates. Both lounges are above average Admirals Club standards at best.
