I took 5 J class domestic flights with AA this month, they were booked in May 2024 directly with AA originally 3 direct flights but AA rerouted via DFW on 2 of these.
When my nTP posted very quickly they equated to 500nTP, so on arriving home I rang the gold line and whilst the lady thought it was right I requested a back office look as I reasoned on the old rule 200TPs would have been rewarded and a third of the way to silver which was accepted.
Within a week I received 2670nTP which I’m satisfied with, and imo correct 200TP x 13.333.
