When I checked the other day it was only blocked in one direction on the 14th but now that certainly does open up the possibility of the 14th.

No doubt public announcements in the fullness of time
Just spill the beans 14th looks full on the EF seat map despite it not being representative of ZKH and the19th now looks only half full despite still being blocked out in PE/J when looking at the NZ site.

True, however... when you fly a bunch of economy already you don't really feel like you need to deliberately add another Y flight! (I have Y lined up on JAL 2-4-2 yay! and QFs A380 - last cabin to tick off then I've flown every cabin on every QF aircraft, and flew QRs AKL-DOH rtn for worlds longest Y bragging rights) I do enjoy checking out certain Y products but NZ, and I guess QF, are my home airlines so I know I'll land on them at some point.

Whilst I don't think the new J and PE products are ground breaking (they're more like a "catch up to other airlines" type product), I do hope NZ make a massive song and dance about it. People have been bagging NZ's J layout and posting feet pics for as long as I can remember! So this upgrade feels more like a momentous occasion rather than an "about dang time" moment. Whilst I doubt I'll be on the inaugural flight I still wouldn't mind getting acquainted with the products a little early...get a whiff of that new interior
