Just completed a 7 night stay. Resort is nice with a good price point of around 30-50% less than the Ziva/Zilaras in Cancun. Property used to be a Secrets so the bones are pretty good, but lots of ongoing maintenance happening so many of the suites / rooms / common spaces are under repairs on an on going basis. Used a SUA to get a Ocean Front One Bedroom Master Suite, which was very large and good views of the Ocean. 5 nights in the suite developed a major leak near the AC and my partner almost slipped due to how much water was on the floor. They sent maintenance who said it was fixed but really the first guy just wiped up some water and left. Thankfully suites come with butlers so she stepped in and got someone else to check and finally figured out they needed to move us. There are only two of these master suites so we got moved into the other one which was on the other side of the property. Funny thing is that the suites are the same but the furniture was more spare and the hot water didn't get very hot on that side. The hot tub on the balcony was much larger but the plug was broken (had been for a long time) and even once I fixed it myself it never filled up or got hot enough to really enjoy.

The drinks were good and free flowing with great bar and wait staff. Very friendly at the bars, pool, and beach. Buffet was decent. Asian sushi and teppanyaki were the highlights. The theme nights with outdoor seating and "live cooked" food were horrible. The food was barely edible the first time we went to skipped the second one. Otherwise I would say its a definitely not great food and gets very boring after a few days but was sufficient for the price.

Overall i think I would rate it 4 out of 5. Good to stay and enjoy once but 7 nights is probably too long. 3-4 seems like what most people do and move onto somewhere else.
