Is this no longer the case? Is T1 going to remain open as it doesn't make sense (at least to me) to keep T1 check in & security open just for T3 departing flights.
the entrance and check-in to T3 will be moving to T1 and renamed T3 departures. once airside you walk across to t3 and the current t3 departure gates. obviously that leaves a lot of current t1 unused, and assume that would be demolished in time.
