Interesting data point - its been years and years (PMNW) but out of 6 AF roundtrips (12 flights) CDG to Asia, as a NW Plat, highest status back then, I was opuped from whatever they called the premium coach cabin to business on 6 flights. Glad it seems that ST Elite status may still mean something.
