The Conrad is a nice property - do you need to be around WTC area? If not, you might prefer to be down JBR way if it's a holiday.
Andaz is... well, it's an Andaz. They either work for you or they don't.
Grand Hyatt is a Dubai classic. Older property but a good one. The new on site waterpark should be open by then.
I do the same, have dropped Marriott too (or almost, still have silver but guess that is the same as dropping it). Yes, everyone tells me that Globalist recognition is quite a bit better compared to the others (and the SUA's are great).
Have been to the Conrad before - have a really good corporate rate there (and also at the PH, I'm paying more for the Andaz...but the kids visiting wants to be by the Palm and closer to JBR...) and I wanted to be around a bit. We have an office at the DFIC (the Waldorf there is good too, great breakfast - but the suite was 3* Conrad and the pool is worse

) so not too far from the Conrad if I need to pop in for a bit of work.
Yes, noticed the waterpark but unfortunately my sisters and their kids have left by then and I guess my three month old might be a bit to young to enjoy it (but maybe I will).
