I booked a "WGA" flight on 4/24/25 using 7,000pts. Today (4/28/25), I saw that they are now charging 6,047pts. As I have done in the past, I logged in to "change" the flight to get the difference in points credited back in the 3 or 4 clicks needed. But it showed "0" points difference on the WGA flight when I got to the list of flights to choose from. So I just canceled the flight to get my 7,000pts and $5.60 in fees back, And did a new reservation for the 6,047pts and fees.

So I guess the IT department has already updated the current WGA fares to reflect the rules that the new "Basic" fares will have on 5/28/25.
