Just finished up a 2 night stay here. Booked a Grand Exec. Suite using points at 16K pts/night. We were upgraded to the Belibis Villa, which was a surprise considering we only have Explorist status. The villa was ridiculously huge albeit a bit dated, but clean. The Grand Club breakfast was pretty good, but the evening cocktail hour, despite a varied selection, suffered from poor liquor quality. The grounds were quite nice, although we didn't have time to explore everything as the place is huge. We ate one dinner at Watercourt which was pretty mediocre and one at the Japanese restaurant, which was much better, although also more expensive. Having spent the previous 5 nights at the Viceroy in Ubud, which is a fantastic 5-star resort, this hotel is at most a 4-star resort.

One note of warning: check to see if there are any events at the facilities on the nearby peninsula during your stay if you are considering staying here. There was an International Run event when we were there and there was a concert stage where sound checks were conducted during the day prior to the event, and then music played during the event. It was LOUD, and the bass from the sound system literally SHOOK the walls of our villa (that is not an exaggeration). To make things worse, since it gets hot in Bali, the race started early in the morning, meaning the music started at 3 am! It didn't stop until 11 am. The hotel really needs to push back on this kind of crap. The music (and especially the bass) did not have to be that loud. I estimate the stage was about 1/4 mile away. At least they could face the speakers out to sea, not at the resort.
