My passport is valid until July 23, 2025 — about 2 months after I return.
I have heard that some countries require at least 6 months of passport validity. However, the UK government website says the passport must only be valid for the stay duration.
Will I face any issues entering the UK or boarding an Air India flight with this passport validity?
Would appreciate advice from anyone with experience or official knowledge. Thank you!
Provided its a direct flight and your other documents are in order you shouldn't have any problems As you say, the uk rule is
Document ValidityPassports and other documents accepted for entry must be valid for the period of intended stay.
This is what the check in agent will read on timatic and verify against
