I agree that while the French Kitchen selection is more varied than what can be found at the Grand Club, the delta isn’t as big as can be typically found between hotel club and proper restaurants.
IME, have had not issues asking for Jasmine tea at the French Kitchen.

I asked about jasmine tea, the guy said he’d find out, came back later and said they don’t have it.
The next day I asked another server “u still don’t have jasmine tea, correct?” and he also said no.
they definitely have it at the club, but you have to ask for it there.
French Kitchen does have oolong tea though.
