AS is adding three new routes out of SAN: ORD, DEN and PHX, all 3X daily. They are backing away somewhat from SFO and LAX but not SAN. They were also just awarded a new DCA-SAN slot.

It looks like they are banking on SAN and I hope they find their niche, the competition is good for the industry.
