LAX was pretty efficient yesterday in T7. Only one kiosk. Agent holding people, sending to kiosk one at a time, telling people to remove hats etc. Stand on a red duct tape x mark, face camera, super fast recognition and "go". Agent told people to move. Agent at desk waiving you through based on his computer screen. Unfortunately, no ask of anything to declare and moving so quickly no easy opportunity to speak up. We had some dried almonds (food) but thankfully no mass of liquor or expensive purchases over the limits. Even if we had stopped to say something, checked luggage was after so couldn't have shown them anyway.
