I did want to chime in here as a fan, but it was a short stay so I don't want to say too much. I stayed at the W Sydney, at last, for a night on a long airport stopover on points and used an NUA and got an upgrade to a three bedroom "residence", was one of the more unique hotel rooms that I've ever stayed at - spread over three floors (Floor 1 == 2 bedrooms, 1 en-suite, 1 bathroom; Floor 2 == 1 bedroom and en-suite; Floor 3 = massive kitchen, dining room and living area, pictured). Breakfast was also very extensive and my amenity. It was a generous upgrade and in many ways we were sad that we only got to stay some ~14 hours at the hotel. Oh, and also a bottle of wine on arrival as a welcome gift (not pictured as it was in the fridge). The location of the hotel is excellent for wandering around Darling Harbour of course, it's a buzzing area.
