After Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle Park we walked a short distance to Ōmichō Market which was not as busy as I had feared. After lunch we caught another bus to Kōrinbō, Kanazawa’s main shopping district. No time for shopping but we walked to Nagamachi, a former samurai district located at the foot of the former Kanazawa Castle. Some visited a restored samurai residence while others enjoyed a chance to sit down with refreshments. Another walk (it was meant to be a walking tour!) to Nishi Chaya District before catching a bus back to where we started.
