The last few times I've been on UA934, Premium Plus and Polaris have been sold out well before check-in opened and the lowest fare buckets were never offered. So they must think 2 daytime out of 7 flights will be more profitable than 1 daytime out of 7 flights. But wouldn't that just cannibalize the premium revenue?
United has the numbers, so I assume that they know what they're doing.
It will be nice having an option to depart slightly later. I sometimes can't connect to UA934 without overnighting at EWR, and when I can, I'm usually only a few minutes above the MCT.
