I believe JL has raised or about to raise F award redemption cost for all its partners. JL's own program (JMB) is also going to see enhanced availability of F awards after 6/10 when its new award chart takes effect (with dramatic increase in the cost of F awards). With its new agreement with JL, B6 just happens to be the first, and so far only, program to get access to this inventory. AS has stopped releasing JL F awards, probably because it doesn't want to pay and eat the higher cost. The days of AA's current award pricing on JL F awards may be numbered too.
