I have been taking mileage trips to get the PQFs. Organically I would be short but I see XN on short hops at a good mileage redemption and I book it. Remember it also gives you a small amount of PQPs. A 8,000 miles trip gives you 80 PQP.

I also like I can cancel and get back the miles and taxes if my plans need to change. Taxes are a direct refund.

I like Star Gold for my international travels. Note I am a 1K (have been for many years) and these days the PQFs are the challenge for me.
