I am trying to book 3x adult 1x child and 1x lap LAX-IAD nonstop with miles on one res. All are part of a pool and the adult members currently have points in the 24 hour transfer hold. When I do a dummy booking it says the ticket is ineligible for pooled points redemption, which gave me pause. I would think it would say there are not enough miles as opposed to ineligible, but this could just be language semantics.

I assume this is because there are points currently pending and that it will be bookable come the end of the hold. I did a dummy booking for one and it said the same thing, so it's likely not the passenger makeup. Still, has anyone made a pooled miles reservation with a lap child? Any other reason why we wouldn't be able to use pooled miles?
