You would think so, right? But while trying to do just this for a upcoming trip, I first received this from MHC:

"Since you’d like to receive base points for the additional rooms, we’ll need to remove the Guest of Honor awards from the reservations and instead list the additional guests by name under a shared reservation. Please note that this means your guests would not receive Globalist benefits during their stay, but it would ensure you earn base points for all three rooms. Let me know how you’d like to proceed."

When I pushed back, I got this:

"I can keep the Guest of Honor awards on the reservations and add the other guests’ names. However, since you would be listed as the registered guest for all reservations, I cannot guarantee that your guests will receive Globalist benefits."

I get it, I want my cake and to eat it too, but it doesn´t seem like a crazy ask! I want to pay for three rooms, earn points on them all and extend my benefits to those staying in them. It seems under the new system only two out of the three are possible?
