It was nice to walk around the corniche and have a proper Qatari meal but my layover was supposed to be 9 hours and ended up becoming 6 due to the long lines, confusion on the visa, and the subsequent discussions with MOI at the airport on whether I was charged the fee correctly for a transiting passenger under their scheme.
