Can someone help me understand the best way to book multiple rooms now (under the new giftable award system)? When I am traveling with family (and paying for their rooms), I want 2 things: 1. to earn the base points from all the rooms (up to the 3 total allowed in the terms) and 2. have all of my guests share my Globalist benefits.

This used to be very easy: book multiple rooms, call Hyatt to apply GOHs and boom. Done. Now, I am so confused as to the "right" way to do this: it seem that you cannot apply a GOH to a second room under your name? Or, better stated, you CAN but it will not guarantee Globalist benefits to the folks in that room? But, if you move the second room´s reservation to their name, it is no longer linked to your account, for both management and points earning purposes.

I LOVE getting to treat my extended family to trips, but the new system seems like it was not designed with this in mind. What have you all found to be the best ways to navigate this? Merging folios onsite? Other ideas?
