I arrive in HKG at 1045 and looking at flying (to BKK) on a 1200 flight. Flights are on two separate tickets - if this was a single ticket I wouldn't have an issue. Can/will Cathay transfer bags? And I assume if the incoming flight is delayed, I have no leg to stand on if I miss the connecting flight?
All with CX? I don't know about checking bags, but once you land in HKG, just go to transfer security. That's it. I did that two weeks ago without any issues. I only had a carry-on though.
