Has anyone managed to successfully cross the UK border into landside from a different terminal from the one you've arrived in? From what I remember in 2017, there was a boarding pass check involved to get on the transit bus.
yes i have usually between t3 and t5. there is no bp check to use the airside buses - i am not sure there ever has been as far as i recall.
