I ADORE crab and I would love a couple of nice ryokan experiences. Budget is no issue. What seems to be an issue is being a solo traveler. It already looks like Sanso Amanosato has minimum two pax occupancy and Nishimuraya Honkan as well. I am not sure about other options.

Is it worth digging further on properties that discourage single occupancy, or will it always be a no? Are there other options that might have more flexibility?
Kayotei in Kaga Onsen has a lot of experience with single, foreign guests. I think they would definitely be willing to accommodate you.
