Looks like change of policy here on Globalist breakfast. Andaz Breakfast is no longer included, just the Garden Buffet which means the ala carte items are no longer included. Price differential between Garden and Andaz breakfast is 13 euro. Ordered an ala carte item this morning. Restaurant refused to charge just the differential between the Garden and Andaz options (which would include the ala carte item). Insisted on charging full amount for the benedict (16 euro). Said they'd have to look into future options for Globalists to upgrade to the Andaz breakfast 🙄
Staying here for the first time in late July. Disappointing to hear they've just eliminated a benefit. Their buffet looks decent enough, but when staying several nights it's definitely nice to be able to order from the menu to get some better variety. Maybe they'll get negative feedback from Globalists and reverse the decision.
