I certainly wouldn't pay extra to sit in E+ on UA in its current form. Its only 5 extra inches, I'm not going to pay for that.

However BA's WT+ is often good value, the seat is SO much more comfortable than WT. Wider and more legroom and great recline. That's worth paying more for.

Having said that, the premium can sometimes be extortionate. When I was looking last year, it was about GBP 1,600 to get to SYD on WT+, but only about 600 in WT, so the 1,000 premium is WAY too much (unless you're MFU'ing to CW).

In any case, I'm not sure how succesful WT+ is being, does anyone know. I have a sneaking suspicion that its often full of bumped WT passangers, due to the small provision of WT seats on most of BA's layouts (especially the 4-class 777).
