OTOH, I really miss the fresh (perishable) plated snacks they served on some ~600-900-ish mile mainline flights pre-2020... These items would be perfect for that. Those snacks weren't great, but most of them were a lot nicer and more appropriate than the snack basket, which would be better suited to 250-600 miles.
I agree the PHX-DFW went from Meal, to plated snack, to snack basket…. What was served on the DFW-BIS was perfect for the Hub to Hub..
