As far as I know, each sector is priced at the time the ticket is issued. So your AY flight(s) has a defined price associated to it. It's not simply total price divided by number sectors etc.

If you change your ticket, I would expect that already flown sectors are unlikely to be repriced. It would only be the unflown sectors which would be repriced. So your AY flown flight would still be the same price as it was previously.

This is a bit of a guess though I am not a ticketing agent 😅
