LHR-GIG is the one that matters, as it is the first inter-TC flight, so the travel agency system will default the ticketing carrier to BA. However, the agent may choose another ticketing carrier as long as that ticketing carrier's flight is included in your itinerary and if the ticketing carrier is okay with that.
