Recent late evening HAM - LHR flight, IFL approached and happily announced "today we have a Greek salad or Prawns".
"Ok, I go for the prawns then as apperently you just ran out of the 3rd option (which was chicken) on the other side of the aisle?"
He then sheepishly confirmed.
Great crew though on that flight, with multiple top offs of water and bubbles from big bottles.

Strangely, the exact same dishes for the return flight LHR - HAM were offered 4 days later (minus the chicken).



A bit off topic side, but a BA booking as status-less (moving to AY+) is kind of a dull experience:
No free selection, got pushed into the last row of C and food options ran out.
Guess I got a bit of a reality check after "I do not have to care about anything" during all those previous years of BA Gold

Additionally we got assigned Stand 591(?) which felt like being bussed all the way from Hounslow.
Such a premium experience for which we are now supposed to fork out 20k each year...
(Yes, I know, can happen on other airlines too, speaking of you, LH or QR )
