Just to add to the comment about Interail above, it is substantially cheaper to buy a 3-day one-country pass for Switzerland compared to buying the equivalent direct from SBB.
e.g. 3 day Interail 1st Class - €245 / SBB 3 Day Flex Pass 1st Class - CHF 445 (€447!)
