I'm a long-time lurker on this forum...thanks, everyone for your insights over the years.

I've been a Flight Pass subscriber since August 2024. In October, Alaska altered the terms and conditions, so that after the credit expires, the flights are no longer changeable.

The previous terms and conditions (FAQ) stated:
Changes are permitted to new flights if they are... scheduled no later than 90 days from the original ticketing date
The new terms and conditions don't allow ANY changes after the booking month expires. So if you use your April credit to book a ticket for June, it becomes non-changeable and non-refundable after April 30.

I wouldn't mind this if Alaska had grandfathered me into the old T&Cs, or let me cancel the subscription early in recognition of the changes to the program. But Customer Care won't do anything, apart from granting a couple of "goodwill" customer care certificates. I frequently change flights up to a couple of weeks before departure, so the new Flight Pass is pretty much unusable for me, and I'm locked in to paying $99/month through July.

Has anyone had any success with getting Alaska to honor the old T&Cs or do an early cancellation of a subscription? Any recommendations for further recourse? Should this be a DOT complaint? While the Flight Pass allows Alaska to unilaterally change the terms and conditions, I don't think that is legally enforceable given that the changes are material. (Hey, they could also change the T&Cs to only allow Flight Pass to be used on flights departing before 6.30am on the second Tuesday of the month, but I don't think that would hold up in court either.)
