ALSO, a separate question, I have to run back to the states for a few days in July BKK-DSM and the cheapest flight has the longest legs on Emirates, which I've never flown. BUT, I do seem to recall they have some special mile crediting agreement whereas they are not a true *A member. (I think getting it to ticket on 016 is the biggest deal) IDK - I've been out of this "hard core" since about 2012. Thanks everyone.
