Had a very nice stay here earlier this month when ski season was wrapping up. It was pretty much as expected or better and we were not disappointed.
Before I booked I emailed the hotel to inquire about the occupancy level of the King Junior suite since it said online that it was only for 2 people and I was most likely going to be traveling with 3. They responded that 3 people can sleep in the suite and that they can even give us a rollaway for the third person so each person has their own bed (King bed, sofa bed, plus rollaway).
Unfortunately the King Suite was unavailable for my dates when I was booking (and remained so until check in), so I booked 2 standard rooms - 1 x twin room and 1 x King room on points which actually ended up being cheaper than the Suite and also afforded us an extra bathroom which was great. A couple of days prior to check in I emailed the hotel to request connecting rooms. I was told that these 2 room types were not available as connecting rooms so I inquired which rooms did connect and they answered that the Queen rooms can connect to the twin rooms but that this room type was sold out for my dates so they could not switch me into it. I responded that I did see availability online for the Queen room but perhaps the site was inaccurate and would wait for check in to see if anything changed. The hotel then answered apologizing for their previous error in stating that the Queen room is unavailable and that they can give me a Queen room connecting to the twin room for my stay. Our rooms were in a corner of the building and the view wasn't anything fabulous compared to other views I've had at Swiss Alp hotels, but definitely much nicer than what I see outside my bedroom window every day

.
Rooms were well maintained and clean and housekeeping was consistent although they didn't restock the decaf coffees I used but I had enough between what was in the 2 rooms being the only one drinking it. I didn't expect a Hilton Garden Inn to give robes and slippers and was pleasantly surprised to find them in the room.
The spa at this hotel is really nice and is a very welcome respite after a day of skiing.
Although as previously noted the hotel isn't near the lifts, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel with frequent enough service to get you to the lifts. The hotel gave us a pass for free bus service throughout the area.
We rented skis from Top Secret at the foot of Jakobshorn and for 5 CHF you can store everything in their lockers right next door for the duration of your rental so no need for us to drag our gear back and forth from/to the hotel (although they do have a nice big ski equipment storage room that you can use for free but for us it was well worth the 5 chf to leave it in the lockers).
Would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.
