BA upgrades were removed from EF a while back, but this is for an AA SWU on a codeshare. The only way I know is to keep calling AA.
BA award space is not searchable at ExpertFlyer AFAIK.

In order to use a SWU on BA there just needs to be standard award space open. You don't need to keep calling AA, just do an award search at aa.com, if there is award space available on the BA flight then in theory you should be able to apply the SWU.
