RJ (RC/OW) Elite Miles issue buying
Hi all,
Posted this in the Royal Jordanian section but its not frequented very often and as it's a OneWorld alliance member I thought I might try here for more exposure if the MOD's do not mind.
Appreciate if anyone else who is a Royal Club member (minimum 5,000 tier miles) of RJ can let me know if the ELITE MILES section of the RJ website is letting you buy tier miles at the moment.
I am currently 1,515 tier miles away from Platinum Hawk (OWE) and only have 10 days to get status before tier miles start dropping off from the previous 12 months. I specifically did a Long haul run from ATH - ORD rtn last week to leave the small amount of tier miles remaining and was going to spend $200US purchasing 2,000 tier miles to get me over the line.
For the past 7 days I have logged in everyday and keep getting the same message on the ELITE MILES section (see below). It's infuriating because neither ringing Jordan or emailing their FFP gets me a straight answer. Pulling my hair out here due to needing these last 2,000 miles ASAP. Over the past year I have always had the ability to buy tier miles but never needed to, then when I need the facility, it's not working. For the record, my partner is also getting the same outcome.
