We understand guests visiting San Diego have many options. It took us 5 years to bring the Granger to life. It is a key part of the local community and we went though extraordinary efforts to preserve the historic aspects of the building filled with many incredible stories. Our goal was to create an authentic design forward unexpected experience in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter with all of the comforts of home in a private and exclusively urban oasis. The hotel is for guests only and their visitors. A first for San Diego.

This month we also kicked off a one of a kind open art studio which is tucked away behind the main lobby. Our guests have access to hang out in this space, work and mingle with the artist Walter Redondo.

Insider Tips:

Quit Rooms: All of our Courtyard Rooms face the interior of the hotel away from the street road noise.

Bonvoy Points: The systems are slightly different vs other Marriotts and in some cases there are delays with points hitting the account. Please bare with us and allow a couple extra days for points to process.

Breakfast: This is not your typical hotel “free” breakfast. Ingredients are high quality and everything is fresh and we feature unique items throughout the week. Our sister property The Guild Hotel’s culinary team provides oversight to ensure the breakfast delights.
