I just visited 3 lounges recently in Mexico and Spain that I haven't visited since 2019. Back then there was no lineup to get in and the food they had was pretty nice. Not sure what happened with the supply/demand. Now those same lounges that had good food, have drastically cut back to offering something pretty poor. (And I have a low standard for good food) On top of that there was a line to get in (or I could have paid $7 for a reservation)
Glad I didn't pay $7 for a reservation as even though it took 5 minutes to get in I wouldn't have been happy to even pay $7 for access yet I believe Priority Pass is still getting a similar $28 each time I get in.
So... my thoughts PP must be making huge profits in 2025
