I had the pleasure to stay at HI Thessaloniki for a night. Although not in the city center the hotel was very close to our target venue and the Central train station (where our bus arrived/departed). Breakfast was standard HI where I can always find eggs, pancakes and fruits and most importantly coffee to wake me up. Courteous staff, early checking / late checkout possible without advance notification was highly appreciated. We stayed in 2 Bedroom suite which was advertised as 35 SQM. Either the number was a mistake or they did kind of magic
