The hotel replied telling me the original price. So I emailed back and no response for 2 days now. Will go back to customer service.

Sometimes also, they will claim no one as a clue about what you're talking about when you check in, in which case you would have to deal with getting some money back after your stay, by email with the property (unless you have time to deal with that on the spot)
My stay is in 7 days, pay at property booking, so worst case is I go and "fight" it on the spot with the CS emails as proof if I don't hearback by then?
