and quoted me what seems to be the JPY equivalent of USD 200, which I thought was extremely reasonable. It was all set and done in under 5 minutes and I spent a very enjoyable 7 hours in 01A. Nobody else seems to have asked because I was all alone there. MH was also not informing passengers that paid upgrades were available.
The aircraft was changed from A333 to A359 about 4 days before departure, but the upgrade bidding never became available. MH has last minute airport upgrades always available but few people seem to know about them.
The upgraded flight from NRT registered properly in the original D booking class in my QR account whereas the upgraded flight through bidding (also originally in D class) from KUL did not.
does this mean you got credited for business in the mhupgrade but not the bid upgrade?
