Same strategy for other airlines - depends on the crew, but one or more airlines who have a multinational cabin crew tend to be noisy from chit chat much of the time, whereas crews of one nationality are usually more quiet and respectful.

นินทา aka "gossip") is what keeps cabin crew sane ! (or so I heard from a cabin crew member...

).
I personally find galley noise, and especially galley light as the curtain opens/closes my main peeves. I can sleep just about anywhere, and do usually have noise cancelling headphones on - which really only healps with engine/airframe noise and not really with sudden sounds.
