Introduction to easyJet Flight Club

easyJet Flight Club is a loyalty programme tailored specifically for easyJet’s most frequent flyers, offering a suite of exclusive benefits designed to enhance the travel experience for members and their immediate friends and family. Membership is strictly by invitation only, based on a traveller’s flying activity with easyJet over a 12-month period, and cannot be purchased or applied for directly. easyJet have currently paused offering Flight Club to new members.

How to Join
Membership to Flight Club is extended at easyJet’s discretion. While the airline does not publish precise eligibility criteria, invitations are typically sent to customers who fly frequently with easyJet. Once invited, members receive a unique membership number, which must be used to access Flight Club benefits. Membership is valid for one year, after which easyJet reviews the member’s flying activity to determine if renewal is appropriate. The airline may update or publish more details about eligibility and renewal criteria in their FAQ section from time to time.

Accessing Benefits
Members can access their benefits by booking flights as usual on easyJet’s website, ensuring they are logged into their account. For specific benefit-related requests or to make changes that utilise Flight Club privileges, members can contact a dedicated customer service team via a special Flight Club phone line, available every day from 8am to 8pm (with some regional variations).

Who Can Use the Benefits?
Flight Club benefits apply to every flight taken by the member. If the member makes a booking through their account, the benefits extend to all passengers on that booking. However, if a passenger is removed from the booking or travels separately, they lose access to these benefits.

Key Benefits
• Price Guarantee: If a member finds an equivalent easyJet flight cheaper with another airline, easyJet will refund the difference and provide a flight voucher worth 10% of that difference. The comparison must be with publicly available, standard fares on the other airline’s website, for flights departing and arriving at the same airports within one hour of the easyJet flight. Claims must be made by phone and are subject to validation.

• Price Promise: If a member finds the same easyJet flight at a lower price on easyJet’s own website or app after booking, easyJet will refund the difference as a credit voucher. This excludes promotional sale fares and requires that the lower fare is for the same date, route, and flight number.

• Flexible Flight Changes: Members can change the date and route of travel on any booking (excluding Inclusive Plus Fares) as many times as they wish, without paying the usual change fee. Only the fare difference applies. Name changes that remove the member from the booking end access to further changes and benefits for that booking.

Additional Information
• Vouchers issued as part of the benefits are valid for 12 months.
• All bookings must be for personal use and for immediate friends and family; commercial use or transfer of membership is strictly prohibited.
• easyJet reserves the right to amend or withdraw benefits and terms at any time, and misuse can result in membership cancellation and recovery of benefits.

Conclusion
easyJet Flight Club is a valuable programme for frequent easyJet travellers, offering price guarantees, flexible booking options, and dedicated support. However, access is limited to those who meet easyJet’s loyalty criteria and are invited to join. For those who travel regularly with easyJet, Flight Club can provide significant savings and peace of mind.

UPDATE 3 July 2025: easyJet has finally pulled the plug on the Flight Club loyalty program and the scheme is now closed for everyone. After years of silence and no new invitations, members recently received confirmation that Flight Club has been “placed on hold” as part of an internal review. This decision affects all existing members.

For a while, it seemed like Flight Club was just quietly fading away, with memberships expiring and no word from easyJet about what was happening. Now, the airline has made it clear that the program is finished, at least for the foreseeable future. This move is likely a step towards launching a new loyalty scheme, as easyJet has hinted at plans for a more traditional points-based program, but there’s no official launch date yet.

easyJet Plus is still around, for now, that’s the only option for regular easyJet travellers. The end of Flight Club is definitely disappointing for those who valued the benefits, but hopefully, it means something better is on the way.

UPDATE 31 July 2025: Further to the update of 3 July, easyJet have been sending out the following email to at least some previously closed out Flight Club members:You may have received an email recently stating that your Flight Club membership had ended. Upon further review of your account, we realise this email was sent in error, and would like to apologise for any confusion caused.

Please rest assured that your membership is still active, and there’s no action needed on your part. You can continue enjoying all the benefits of Flight Club as usual.

As part of a wider review, we’re currently looking at how we can better recognise our customers in the future.
