I lost enough funds in the past due to poor organization/forgetting about them that the six month funds expiration is something I am confident will cause me to lose money. I could just not book Basic fares I guess... 12 months I can use the credits no problem. But six months...?
And the real kicker is that the 6 months starts when you book the flight. So if you book four months out and cancel at the last minute your funds are good for two months. That's absurd, and I'm out for cash leisure bookings on SW. I'll use miles when I have them or switch to UA/NK combination probably. I just can't bring myself to fly Frontier, too many bad times.
